It has been my pleasure to be the director of the Gay Kimball Library for the past 10 years. I am shocked to suddenly realize that kids I helped find books for their 4th grade reports are now driving and in college. I will be leaving the third week in January to embark on a new adventure. I plan on taking a road trip across the country visiting friends & family and doing a lot of hiking and camping along the way. When my money runs out, I’ll start a new endeavor in the library world….somewhere that tickles my fancy. I’ll be sending regular postcards to the school and library, plus there may be a blog. So keeping tabs on me will be easy, if you’re inclined to do so. – From December 2015 Troy Town News
