imageIt has been my pleasure to be the director of the Gay Kimball Library for the past 10 years. I am shocked to suddenly realize that kids I helped find books for their 4th grade reports are now driving and in college. This is the longest I’ve ever stayed at any job and that is a true testament to the great people of Troy. Thank you everyone for all the wonderful years but especially to those who have served as Library Trustees, volunteered, worked with me or made use of this wonderful institution.
I will be leaving the third week in January to embark on a new adventure. I plan on taking a road trip across the country visiting friends & family and doing a lot of hiking and camping along the way. When my money runs out, I’ll start a new endeavor in the library world….somewhere that tickles my fancy. I’ll be sending regular postcards to the school and library, plus there may be a blog. So keeping tabs on me will be easy, if you’re inclined to do so. – From December 2015 Troy Town News
